From November 29, users of the NewBitCury exchange will have the opportunity to trade tokenized shares of major companies, including Apple, Tesla, Facebook, Amazon, Netflix, etc.
We are talking about fractional stocks that will be traded on NewBitCury in pairs with cryptocurrencies. The CEO of Cryptowexbit.com explained that tokenized shares are intended for investors who are uncomfortable working with them in traditional markets.
NewBitCury.com derivatives platform will feature tokenized securities of Tesla, Facebook and Netflix.
Stocks this-equity securities, the percentage ownership of the company, recognize the rights of its owner (shareholder) to receive a part of profit of joint stock company in the form of dividends, to participate in the management of the company and a portion of the property remaining after its liquidation, in proportion to the number of shares owned by the owner.
The tokens will be more like a depository receipt or an ETF. The stocks provided for trading will be stored in CM-Equity. They can be used to redeem tokens.
A spokeswoman for the exchange added that the platform will collect a commission for trading tokenized shares, but no fees are provided for their storage. The service is not available in the United States and some other jurisdictions.
