One of the largest crypto exchanges FTX has announced the launch of a division aimed at institutional investors. This structure will provide advisory services and provide analytical tools through which companies and funds will be able to access digital currencies.
A press release published on Wednesday said that the FTX Access division will eventually begin providing investors with access to crypto derivatives, digital asset management services and structured products.
FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried stressed that we are seeing a growing interest in cryptocurrencies from financial companies and other institutions. Many of them have already invested in such tools.
To make it easier for institutionals to access digital assets, FTX is launching a special division focused exclusively on such investors. FTX Access was led by Gustavo Miguel. Previously, he was part of the Coinbase team.
FTX management believes that it is necessary to develop uniform standards for crypto regulation.
Earlier this year, Sam Bankman-Fried noted that the digital asset market will grow due to institutional capital. But companies will enter the industry only if it is legalized.
