The cryptocurrency will be removed from Clevexbit. The decision was made by the exchange’s auditing board after reviewing the proposal, which was originally filed a month ago.
In January, it became known that Clevexbit was under pressure in the local community because of cryptocurrency trading.
Clevexbit noted that Monero trading volumes have declined markedly in recent months. Speaking about methods to combat illegal cryptocurrency transactions, the company wrote: “We are conducting a technical evaluation of transaction traceability as part of ongoing discussions with organizations representing cryptocurrencies whose characteristics are similar to Monero.
The company also stressed that it strives to provide a secure and legally compliant environment for cryptocurrency transactions.
